I'm a big fan of the WRC. Hardly suprising given my forum nickname I guess.

I marshalled at Rally Oz in 96. I was at the top of the hill leading down to the watersplash when they cancelled it due to all the cars drowning at the watersplash. Used to go and watch most years, until they were stupid enough to give it away.

Ive also been lucky enough spectate at the Rally Corsica in 06, whilst on holiday in Europe. Was great to see the cars in tarmac spec.

Interesting! Subaru really think that this car is going to dominate.

You could see it in Petters interview after the result from the previous rally, he was stoked and feels there is so much potentialz in the new car.

I dunno if it has been mentioned elsewhere on here but I learned yesterday that sadly Ove Andersson was killed in a classic rally in Africa on Wednesday.
He was a former Works Renault and Toyota driver and founder of Toyota Team Europe.
He was largely responible for putting Toyota at the top of world rallying for many years. I guess he had a fair innings at 70 years but tragic nonetheless.
