why upgrade fuelling if it's not maxed yet?

ive seen stock 99/00 injectors handle ecu, turbo, TMIC intake and zorst.

if you're modding for the sake of 'while your're there' then might as well do turbo, fmic, all the fuelling too !.. maybe even a built motor, while u'r there.

a fuel pump upgrade is not an expensive option on a $60K+ car when you're gonna spend $3000-$4000 on an exhaust, retune, etc - cheap insurance if you ask me. If the reflash will net ~200kwatw & the 06STi's still have the pink injectors, i recon your IDC's will be hovering around 90% - if you think it's worth penny pinching for a couple hundred bucks on a fuel pump, go for it...

i think the injectors are the blue ones which mite even be the 440s, thats wots coming out of the states anyway.

Apparetnly there the same size as the 06 WRX

i'm the last to penny pinch blues. but im of the notion if u dont need it, and it wont cost u next time any extra money, then dont do it !

and i seriously doubt he will get 200kw atw from flash and zorst, amazing stuff if he does !

and if by some unliekly chance it is running at 90% then u'd be stupid to not upgrade it. no argument there.

Yeah while I am there, fuel pump sounds like a go... it's only a few hundred. ;)

It was posted here that an 06 STi has already been tuned at MM and with a ECUTek 1 and T/B Zorst it put out 180KW atw and 460 NM of torque. So hopefully the car with ECUTek 3, fuel pump and Intake will make 200 KW atw.

180kw is pushing it. 200 is a blow-up tune.

We are talking about a Ecutek 3 here - which is a std map reflash, then the tune is fine tuned on the dyno to customer requirements. I don't think those numbers are BS for a custom tune, but are probably optimistic for a generic reflash & drive-away ecutek map.
