Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm thats a VERY uneducated comment to make

What do you call decent power? What do you call a decent engine etc etc.

the pistons can be obtained from PMS, wisco do a forged piston for a ej22 as well, you can also get all the components from Ron at AXIS RACING, but could secure the parts locally as well.....

my 2.5 makes 342ps@hubs at 5500rpm at speedwok. If I had a 2.2 I would probably make more total power as the backpressure above 5500 kills the power. So if you do go 2.5 you need to also budget for a huge turbo to get any real advantage over a 2.2.

2.2L short block with all the goodies is $6900 from Perfourmance in QLD.

They did most of the work to my block and its a 2.5 thats taken a fing hammering and still goign..... so id rate them well.
