Spotted this on the way to the girlfriends house this morning on south street, at the lights adjoining Calley Drive to South Street.

I think it was a Bugeye, it was green.

Apparently it was raining pretty heavy in the morning, the guy took out a light pole too.

heard this on the radio on the way to work, didn't give any details though or say the car had rolled just that a car had hit a pole... wonder how it happened?

My best guess is that it came out of Calley Drive, maybe speeding, who knows, or maybe it was raining so hard that he didnt see oncoming cars, Turned hard, or understeered, hit the pole, car rolled over.

Damn thats no good.

i went past just as it happened (but didnt see what direction he was coming from) at approx 7:05am. Roads were wet but it hadnt rained for a good hour. A sad sight indeed!

must of been before 7:05 champ, coz thats when i was at the lights taking the photo, and the ambulance was already there.

maybe 5 or 10 mintues earlier.
