Forget about camber bolts at the moment, just enjoy your car until you've found the limit of your driving/car and need more negative camber for that extra corner grip. In which case, (I'm just *wildly* guessing you can probably afford it) you should go for adjustable top hats for adjustment rather than camber bolts.
When you lower the car, you automatically get a little more negative camber, and the STIs already come with more aggressive negative camber anyway. My humble and personal opinion is that you probably wouldn't need any camber adjustment yet. In the case that you do, camber bolts are more so the poor man's alternative to obtaining camber adjustment. The proper way (in my opinion again) should be via adjustable top hats. Also do bear in mind that with more negative camber you get more corner grip but you also:

I called John today, top bloke that guy.
I've bitten the bullet and decided to veer away from the STi pinks & top hats i was planning. It was just too expensive in the end, and John recommended me the Whiteline's, without having to play with the strut mounts. He said i could get camber bolts if i wanted, but i think the springs will be fine for now. Also got to chat to him about tyres & my rims, and was told the Continentals will be good at $355 a pop. Nice to talk to him, he knows his stuff! |

Finalised with John today, will be doing the Whitelines sometime next week. Stage 1 he said, which don't lower the car much at all, but that doesn't bother me. May do camber bolts, we'll see...Saweeet

i think putting whiteline/king springs in place of stock sti springs is going backwards, but thats just my oppinion. the sti springs is mated to the dampers and do a great job together. do it right the first time an put coil overs in it if u ask me

I heard from a few other STi owners that the stock springs are too soft and aren't matched to the dampers. Stiffer springs they said matched better, and significantly improved the handling. John assured me this was the way to go for street & occasional track. When i have a few grand spare, i'll do some G4's!
