44,000 Volts should be enough I think ( can a sparky confirm for me ).

Anyone have an inverter that can handle the task???
I think 44000v will do the job, although you will have a fight on your hands when it comes to getting the barbecued crim smell out of your carpets.

Funny you should mention something like this.. About 10 years ago an RSL kept getting robbed and all their grog stolen so an old boy that was a sparky threw a heap of barbed wire into the ceiling of the RSL and electrified it.

They caught the crim and then he sued for damages.

Fucked world!

I've been thinking about this lately, as i've got another car arriving here in 2 weeks.

I really need to lock up the garage, but i have no idea what are the options out there? Suggestions, anyone? I always keep my keys in my room, but i want to make it difficult/impossible for anyone to open the garage door. It is remote controlled.
I am currently looking to upgrade the car's alarm system, too.
