I heard there are other workshops who are applying to admister the tests also.
Another thing I heard is 4wd cars are not subjected to the testing because KEC is not set up to do so, does this mean they don't have a 4wd dyno? If so we might be ok for a while!!

I love the fact this can't possibly apply to pre-73 cars as there were no emission regs in the ADRs back then. So my ol corty with twin 45 webers pumping heaps of fuel should be ok.

Doesnt really make it fair tho........

As far as I know you only have to adhere to the emissions within the ADRs of the year of manufacture.

But I can't see 1993 cutting you a lot of slack but worth a look either way.

Yet a brand new car with the latest in emissions controls and fuel delivery can be sent for a test merely on the suspicion of an unqualified person.

Guys, if you think something in grossly unfair, excercise your rights and take it through the courts. You don't need fancy lawyers, just take the free one offered to you or defend yourself. I know it's a process and all but the more people who plug up the already overcrowded court system, the more you'll notice ammendments being made to such laws... there is a good history of this concerning other cases.
