I went in a brushless carwash once and I cant say that the car came out any cleaner...it just had a layer of wax over the top of the dirt and the windows went all smeary.
I just save my money and do it the old fashioned way when I can be bothered. |

Answers:
A. no B. no c. no Pressure is 4-5 bar max. Just as long as they're using good chemicals (it's the pre-soak that does the cleaning). Best site in Perth is the carwash on wanneroo rd just after royal st lights (near Dog Swamp), the owner imports the chemicals for most of the other car washes in WA. In a past life I managed 4 sites in Perth. Super sat Pre-soak ftw!

I use Jet Wash on Wanneroo Rd in Joondanna, near the Mighty Quinn Pub.
Been using it ever since I've been driving, and its always done me well...never damaged anything and the car comes up nice and clean. A tip though: don't use the auto wash if your car is dumped or you have big rims, you might scrape something on the guide rails inside the car wash. Use the manual washing bays and DIY. |

I prefer to use the DIY bays. Give it a good pre-soak, wheel cleaner, spray it off with soap-spray, then hit up the foaming brush, water spray off .. then do your chamois and wax, tyre shine and whatnot and all good!
A good tip would be to use the high pressure hose on the brush end prior to using as you don't know what it was cleaning prior to you arriving and it may have sand and shit inside it.
