Unhappy More $$ on WRX OUCH!!

Just thought I would have a moan about the cost of my car and the engine swap I have just completed. After spending 5 grand on the engine and other mods I have taken my car to Allstar for what I thought would be a relatively cheap tune and minor work. After speaking with the garage today I got the bad news that my clutch was slipping on the dyno when they tried adding boost. I was not happy! Total cost of the job will be 3 grand including the new clutch witch it fair but hurting my budget. Total cost of the job has reached 8 grand and car is still not registered yet. I think I'm going to stop for a while. haha

Too bad mate. I feel your pain. I had a similar problem a while back. Things just went one after the other...

You have a GC8? What mods were you getting done? What engine was going in?

That sucks mate
Especially because you could've swapped the clutch over without copping the labour charge while the motor was out.
I remember your old motor went around the same time my GC8 spun a bearing - you must be so keen to get it on the road!

The clutch I'm fitting is an organic exeedy sports costing $1250 fitted. I started off thinking i'll get the stock WRX motor secondhand and get it back on the road as cheap as possible. Then the idea of a low km import STi motor came to mind and things just snowballed from there. Bought the engine and then I find out I need power FC. I ended up with a good setup but i'm starting to feel the pinch now. Never intended on spending 8k on my 99 WRX. The body is still not the best and would have to spend a further 2k to get it looking nice. Here are my mods at the moment. I'm keen to know what it will pull on the dyno. Anyone got any idea roughly?

Japan Spec STI Engine (Version 6)
Apexi Power FC Fuel Management System & Hand Controller
IHI VF34 Turbo
Blitz Dual Stage Electronic Boost Controller
06 STI Top Mount Intercooler
AVO Silicone Intake Pipe
MonstA Stainless Steel Equal Length Headers & Up Pipe `
3” Turbo Back Exhaust With 5” Trust Cannon Muffler
Z32 Air Flow Meter
K&N Air Filter With Cold Air Induction
Walbro GSS-342 Fuel Pump
Carbon Fibre STI Front Strut Brace
Go Fast Bits Under Drive Pulley Kit (Billet Alloy)
Red Silicone Heater Hose Kit
Gates Performance Racing Timing Belt
17” G-Max Alloy Wheels
Whiteline Lowered Springs
HKS Turbo Timer
Version 6 front lip

I would be happy with 360hp but I highly doubt I'll pull those figures. Yeah, i'm going to leave the body as is and give it a good thrashing for a while. It better blow my hair back!! Should be a big contrast from the stock wrx engine I was running before. I was thinking 300hp at the absolute most.
