I saw this photo a few weeks back of what looked like the front bumper of a s201 and I wasn't sure it was the real deal as this was the only angle, maybe a Version 6 with the bumper? I didn't think much of it at the time because, seriously, who would butcher one so badly.......

it was at auction so it was a matter of time before it surfaced and it has.

I was wrong it was a real s201 and the extent of the butchering is biblical, even I admit that is one ugly looking wrx!

Not sure I want to share the photos, Im actually quite embarrassed and ashamed the breed has suffered this humiliation. Its only saving grace, it still a real s201 and it was "modified" in Japan.

I have contacted the seller and I await his response for build number and any other details.

Chuck the pictures up!!
It doesn't look like anything that can't be swapped back to standard at a quick glance.......apart from the front bar which I can't really believe he hacked up.
Are they stickers infront of the IC?

maybe im just being a purist at heart. normally im very excited to find one, this time, not so much. your right, you could return it back to stock and it wouldn't be too bad, or just remove all those stickers. from the mod list it sounds like it would get up and boogey though, and I think the shifter boot reveals a 6 speed also perhaps?

from what i can gather, its on the slow boat to england and due around aug, hopefully the email contact works and we find out its build number and any other interesting facts.

Get rid of all the stickers, turn the scoop back around (looks terrible), maybe change the rims and she will look sweet IMO.

Yeah I'm thinking 6 speed, why else would it have the clip. Whats the box next to the passengers right leg? Is that a vent into the plastic?

Just noticed the the big RPM tacho/shift light......hmm (not a good hmm ). Oh and the sti wagon in the background mmmmm

outside STi japan in july 2001. the office/block looks so quaint, you wouldn't think that behind those doors pieces of rolling art are created!
