What Doug said & quite often they work on Saturdays so it's worth trying each center before making a booking, I've been offered a quick booking a couple of times over the past few months because they are doing a bit of overtime, they usually ring the day before to remind you too, I've canceled 3 booking with only a day or two's notice & they have been really good about it also.

as far as i know, to get a yellow off, or any kind of inspection, you only need to find your nearest 'approved inspection station'.

i just happened to find one that thought my car was stock haha

I was about 3 cars behind you that day getting licence plates. Didn't quite understand why you got yellowed. Your car looks to be in prime condition.

O'Connor is about 3 hrs wait for me. Depends who you get. The obese guy with messy hairdo is extremely anal so if he ask if your next, just say no and wait for another vehicle examiner. The rest of the examiners are mostly friendly.

Hi all,

Just thought id post this link below.

Its a full list of approved pit inspection centres
for outside the metro area including Rockingham
and Mandurah and Forrestfield which i though
was still pretty much within the metro area.

May come in handy some day

You may find the metro ones are for trucks only.

As in Rockingham and Mandurah?

DPI said on the phone all the ones listed in that link are fit for any vehicle inspection.

I rang up enquiring about the Mandurah ones as i was going
to get mine inspected and licensed there whilst i was on my
way down there for the weekend but have decided just to do it
tomorrow in the metro area.

Have a closer look in the second column under Shire........There are only two listed as metropolitan.... Joondalup & Forrestfield & again I'm pretty sure they are for trucks only!!!!!

First of all you can have these back: !!!!!

Secondly i didn't post that link up for people who wanted to go to
METRO inspection centres it was for "OUTER" metro area as said in the
post with the link.

I said nothing about going to Forrestfield at all.
