I travel this stretch of road every work day at some very early hours of the morning.

The coppers are frequently there on that bridge near the Buswood Tennis centre.
Makes for easy targets, as virtually everyone speeds along that stretch when there is little traffic.

The earliest I have seen them on the Bridge would have to be 4am with a Laser guns.
They will also follow you along Great Eastern highway in the wee hours of the morning heading to the airport in unmarked cars.

Funniest thing I have seen is a Riced up Lancer trying to race me that got nabbed.
Wish I could have seen the look on his face

Hi,

Mate, using cruise control in the tunnel? I'm not seeing that working.

Cheers,
Nik

Yes it's rare you don't have to slow down when everyone gets scared of the dark and hits the brakes but helps stops the temptation to give it a squirt just cos it sounds so much better at full noise.

Why, because the speed sensor can't get it's bearings from the sun?

I think its because when its congested you are applying the brake alot. When its not congested you are still applying the brake because people love tod rive their auto eb falcons with their foot on the brake.

Is that why none of the brake lights work on old shitters? Because of overuse perhaps?

Just tonight I was behind a POS tiny little Kei class car, could have been a Colt or similar, dented to all christ. Most expensive thing on it was the signwriting. Anyway sure enough NO BRAKE LIGHTS what so ever, no illumination wether the brake was on or not. To top it all off, the car was either a parts run-around or a loan car from a service/light maintainence workshop. Makes me sick that a workshop (FFS) can let that out on the road. Meanwhile, anyone with a car that can go 0-100km/h in less than 10s is automatically a potential HOON and should as such be closely scrutinised any time that they should be out of their driveway. Ahh me HOON mobile....
