Top two have gone past their use by date!

Were the two without the platinum tips cyls 2 & 4 by any chance?

The plug on the bottom right looks like the insulator has broken, just the shadow in the photo?

Just re-read your post....they were cyls 1 & 2?

Close ross..

3 and 4 and its just a shadow..

hahahaha Doug.. They all are or were platinum..

Funny thing is.. All bores are clean as and there is no damage to any of the pistons.. and it appears to be cylinder two that has failed.. I havent stripped it down yet but it has some up and down slop in it..

My last set came out of the 207 like that.... It was a missed plug change in my cars case though.

It was 2 & 4 on mine that had eroded the platinum completely. 1 & 3 had half the tip left compared to the new ones....
Hadn't started to miss fire at that stage which was surprising!

If they were out of a rotor it wouldn't have even farted.

Yeah surprisingly this had no misfire at all either.. and I feel the failure may be unrelated.. Im leaning towards bad/broken down oil at this stage
