[SEAN 74]

In its former life it was the formaz test mule. When Neil bought formaz this car came from Singapore as a former track series car. Brett Henderson hacked his way into reeling off well over 500hp atw's at a time when everyone would struggle to find 300hp so this was epic. Neil sold the business and took a new direction with Peel Subaru meanwhile sold the car to Sean who continued to let PSi at this stage work on the car. Expectations and reality locked horns as it was forever unreliable and frustrated with this, the car set up shop with RT and there it stayed with some success.

Its not the nicest of car, its actually very rough, but its important because it showcased a milestone of big HP (albeit brief) in the local wrx scene.

Isn't that an incarnationed of the Xspeed show case car mentioned before, I loved that car and you are correct Macey it was for sale in Vic park at one stage as I was tempted to buy it.

I have pics of it at PAS somewhere, will see if I can dig them up.

*edit, the car actually had the plates "XSPEED"

Yeah it was the Xspeed mobile. Avo parts catalogue on wheels. Lots of aspirations in that car but I believe it was a little ahead of its time, or suffered AVOitis.
