hey guys when i got my wrx the guy had done some mods on it and now when im in 5 or 6th gear and you put your foot don't it jerks really bad and i think its the flue pump and idea's on whats good for it?

How much boost is it running?

This is gonna sound hell dumb but how do you tell

A boost guage can of you have one installed

Did the guy you bought it off tell you the workshop he used,
also is it running the STD, flashed or stand alone ECU?

Reason I ask is the more info we have the more help people
can be.

Workshop wise they can usually determine the problem quite
quickly and you may be able to get some history on the car
the owner may have failed to tell you.

ok well iv got one in my car but i have to wait for my gf to get home cos i cant drive it atm... so just put your foot flat in any gear?

yer he did but my gf chucked all the paper work out that he gave me. i just msged him to ask.i no he change the intercooler, ECU, turbo timer, blow of vale, and he changed the alarm in it (dont no y but im pist over 1k to get it changed back) thats what i can remember. when he msg me back ill put a little more up

Sorry what??? Whole words please!

If your hitting boost cut, it will be smooth as you build boost, and then cut out as the turbo peaks.

If its doing it even at lower revs, then its more likely to be a fuel/ignition issue.

Well say if I start of if 1st gear and boot it throgh all the gears it's fine but say if I'm in 5th or 6 gear and put my foot down to pass a car it starts chugging really bad even when it's low revs..

If it's antilag equipped most likely autronic/motec plug and play.
