Default Wiring GD Dash to GC8

Ok so reading sites like NASIOC, occasionally I'll come across a GC8 that has a GDB dash wired in. And it has drawn my interest as to whether they splice into the existing harness or run a later model harness or who knows...

For the life of me, I haven't found out how they are doing it.

So if any search gurus can find out for me it would be much appreciated.

I'm very interested in this too, as I may be heading down the Spec C conversion to my GC8....

Going from manual air-con to climate control would probably be the biggest bit of stuffing around I'd expect.

John, I'm wondering that because the U.S. never received GC Wrx's are they just getting wrecked GD's and transferring the complete loom, along with motor's and running gear into GC's?

Some CG8's have climate control. Mine and Ross's version 6's do.

it is not uncommon for jap spec gc8s to have climate control.

you can also get poverty spec gds in japland with manual heater controls.

This is true, but John's doesn't.
