Default ASG - few quick Questions

Evening,

I know there's been rave reviews for ASG but I have a few quick queries...

Has anyone on here had them do a turbo/exhaust/headers swap & tune? Good quality work?

How long did it take & what sort of $$ would it cost. I'm imagining probably need it for the day & somewhere about the $1500-2k mark?

How far in advance do you need to book it in?

I'll be calling them this week sometime but work's so hecktic I barely get to scratch my arse at the moment.

Coming up from Albany & engine won't like the long trip untuned otherwise I'd do it all myself & just get them to tune it. Got Matt (Jester)'s TD04HLA-19t twinscroll kit going on the Forester.

i would book at least a month in advance where possible. i figure it gives them plenty of time to plan around you, so less chance of the "sorry we couldn't get it done today".

they swapped my turbo, up pipe tmic and plumed up the bov for about $500
tune was $990 i believe.

they get a guy in to crack the codes on the ecu, who i believe has a day job so they dont really start the tune until quite late in the afternoon. Mine wasn't done until about 7pm.

i was however very happy with the work they had done, and even happier with the power figure i got!

Rather than ask on here...

phone: 08 9248 7433
email: info@allstargarage.com.au

Why not ask them direct how much it will cost and when you can book it in? Like most people in the world, they don't bite (hard) and are happy to help out customers.

I've recently had All-Star complete an EJ257 bottom-end with my 2L heads which they had machined and rebuilt, also included new turbo, cams and Verso tune. Extremely happy with their work over the past 4 years, pricing is always fair and Sean loaned me his car for a week when we got held up waiting for parts... IMO I couldnt ask for more.

For the rebuild I gave them 2 months notice and locked-in the booking date 3 weeks out. All other work I've never had to wait no longer than a week to get the car in.

Hope this helps...

As it happens my baby is in for her 10k service today

I have used ASG a few times now and they are great. Never any issues, and they are easy to work with. Called them last week to book my car in for its 100k service, and its gone in today
