Got some cheap 18' Altenzo tyres from bob jane vic pak for $140. Had flat tyres couple days before rexpo so this are the temp till the new tyres arrive.
Might explain why I was sliding everywhere on the skid pan.

I shop at Bob Jane in Balcatta. Have for years. My Yokohama S drive 17's on my STI 18months ago cost me $1200 for the set of 4. Probably not that 'cheap' compared to online places, but they were fitted, balanced, aligned, and had 1 free 3month check/rotation, plus I get looked after throughout the life of the tyres... worth it I recon.
