myself and im sure other wrx's owners use penrite SIN 10

see if you can return that oil and only buy fully synthetic, either 10w or 15w

all oils come from the big refineries the smaller oil companies just add there differant additives and viscosity agents ... just choose a good name brand with correct viscosity and stick with it ... most oils these days are fine to use just dont mix them and things will be fine ... but have you tried amcap for a price on subaru oil ... just use a company name and they should give you trade price ...

of course someone who works for a dealer can get it cheaper than you, it a perk of workin for a dealer, just run castrol edge it's t same oil, irun mobil1 because it rox, subaru dealers cant do trade prices, only subaru parts wa can, theyre in d amcap building hence why you hafta go t amcap t get trade pricing

It seems like you can't afford a new keyboard either (or one that doesn't have missing letters)

ic cheers for that but i wonder if edge is reasonable price, the oil i use atm seems 2 b great smoothe etc and good economy arnd 500km + a tank so i do see the point of switching, unless like sum peeps said i should b running 10w not 5w...

I use 5w50 mobil1 in a 230,000km old ej207, it has >40psi of oil pressure @ idle on a hot engine and >90 psi above 2000rpm to redline.

These aren't american engines.
