Sorry being silly.....These aren't old tech engines that you run thick oils in to keep them quiet when they've done a few KM.....All the pressure in the world wont help when you have honey in the sump on a cold morning.

Thicker oils do more harm than good, especially to a cold engine.

Sin 10? 10w70....

I'd stick with a semi synthetic 10w40 for daily driving or a fully synthetic 5w50 if it's constantly belted.

Oil viscosities explained:

Talking Oils - a lot of information

OK Rossco - You , usually, don't do silly on something as serious as oils.

Best information about oils I ever read is here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=136052.

I use whatever ASG put in my motor.. they built the motor, they tuned it, they put the oil they want in it when they service it.

Peace of mind.

Nothing silly about the info I posted, just the euphemism for old tech engines. I'll go and eat my head now

+1 Used in my piggy

Works fine for a lightly modified daily with a bit of track-work thrown in.
