A dark blue GC8 WRX went for $6,750.
I'm not sure what condition it was in - it just happened to be on auction while I was looking at the '04.

You can buy a perfectly good 04 STi for 2-3k more, or an 05 for about 6-7k more!!

It was listed as a MY04 but the pictures say its a MY05. Either way, it does seem like a lot of money considering.

I noticed that when I got down there: DCCD, updated centre console, wheels, flared lips on the rear wheel arches etc.

It might work out to be a good deal for someone: maybe the drivertrain and electronics are untouched and car only has 10k kms on it... Or maybe it won't start up and the interior will stink forever. Either way, good luck to the buyer!
