I've had the same problems with my 03 WRX Brant system in 2008. Took it to Subaru in Vic park and they replaced the modual. Haven't had any problems since. I've bought an 05 Sti yesterday and the same old Brant problem popped up. Guess what...it's going to Subaru Vic park. I don't mind punching in a few numbers.

Sooo much hate for the Brant I love mine never had a problem thus far in the 4years Ive owned it.
