Bunnings CAMs approved 1kg extinguishers are appx $30 then tagging is around $18-20 depending on you go to.

Kato, go to malaga bunnings if it's close by to you, isle 8 which is safety isle and you will be sweet, very rare they have them in tool shop but if not isle 8 it will be toolshop.

do they need to be tagged for no-limits? where abouts do you get this done?

some places that sell them will stamp the tag when they are sold ( i used to do this. ( if they come with the tag that is )) otherwise places like Chubb Fire, Wormald etc should do it, not sure how much it will cost though.

I've used Fire Protector Services in Malaga.. Cost around 10 bux for 2x extinguishers (going back late '07) and they did it on the spot.

The cost is now closer to $15-$20. In a lot of cases it's simpler to buy a new tagged extinguisher.
