Well u have a mildly modded wrx now don't you?

I suppose if you are happy with that level of performance, and you don't plan on tracking it much, then stick with a wrx?

Having said that, have you considered MY09/10 STI? I think they look much better than the MY11s...haven't seen the MY12 yet...

I had this same contemplation the other week.

My choice is to go with the newest WRX I can afford. for the mods I plan to do, I won't need an STI as a base. Also, I can't afford 65k +

Why would anyone not want the brakes, 6 speed and more productive bits on an sti?

It maybe a moot point as I tend to think there maybe some delays in getting MY12 Subaru anything after the recent events in Japan.

If you are using the car for work then consider the lease option I reckon.
