Damn... That sucks dude... So did they say there's no issue? I hate when something goes wrong on my wrx, cant stop thinking of how to fix it, lol.

My brant messed with me the other day. Went to enter the code the other morning and it was all turned off... Was able to start the car with no code! lol, i was like wtf!! Ended up that it chucked its self into manual mode. I have no idea why.. I fixed it now, but its weird how it happened.

Did they say what it might be? Or are they lost?

Well the 2 days they had it, they coundnt find any faults. But on Saturday morning they were pretty surprised on what happened. So monday id probably find out.

But i was checking up on google this morning, and a few answers came up about this stalling issue that dont show up as an error code. It could be the ICV (idle control valve) or MAF (Mass air flow sensor). If they haven't figured it out, i might go in and tell them....Hopefully its just that and nothing serious.

ICV and MAF will come out when they do the diagnostic
Did the check engine light or air bag light come on or flash when you had the car working?

Nothing, No engine warning light or battery light because I know the battery is brand new, its only 2 weeks old and i also know it does start up after 4 tries with no problem....it was like a normal start up.

So it has to be those sensors that have malfunctioned and is not reporting it to the internal cpu. Argh i should have listen to me dad lol being a mechanic n all. He knew the problem but wasnt sure when it stalled last weekend.

Sounds like the Brant system. The symptoms are almost identical to what happened to my car (minus the time travelling issues).
Soon as that was ripped out, problem solved.

Nah not the immobiliser, it has too many banana peels in Mr. Fusion. Just remove some.
