Default Subaru dealership servicing experience

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone had any good/bad experience in having their car serviced at any of the Subaru dealership and if there are any that should be avoided.

Cheers!

Mark

I have always serviced my car at City subaru and have never had a problem.

Although it does creep me out that I'm only there once every 3 months and they make an effort to know my name. One of the guys apologised to me once for forgetting it. I told him I'd be more concerned if he did.

Thanks for the feedback meatbag. You service every 3 months?

I use to have a Nissan and serviced at DVG midland. Loved the service there but being a first time subaru owner, I wasn't too sure of the reliability at these dealerships.

I avoid servicing at the dealers due to price. I take mine to S-Technic in Maddington, they do book servicing and charge about half of what Subaru do. I service every six months if I can . (Or every 10,000kms).

+1 for City Subaru - Easy and convienient for salary sacrificing. Mines stock as a rock though.

Normally deal with Luke on the front desk. They normally clean the interior (briefly, ie quick wipe and vacuum), waterless wash (its not the best but I always get it back cleaner than I handed it over) and most importantly they CLEAN MY RIMS as part of the service. I thinks its purely because they dont want an inch thick ayer of brake dust on their hands when they rotate my tyres.....

+1 for City Subaru. James and Luke in particular are always helpful. James has helped me out many a time whether it be a service or rocking up on short notice to fix a niggle.

Other than that mitch is on the money with STechnic (or even MMS in Malaga).

PS: nice piggy, love em in white (but im a bit biased like that )

+1 for both City Subaru and Dougy at Stechnic ! Recalls go to City Subaru and I see Brad (Kingy) and for minor servicing and major installs the cars go to Doug (When they are running mind you) Also had really really good dealings with Wally and Mick at Melville Subaru (it's just outta my way now) they used to give me a drive car for the day, Although Brad tends to do that to for Recall work there is alot on the 02 STi !!

Awesome. City Subaru sounds like the place to go. I'll keep that in mind with my service coming up soon.

I'm too poor to afford an STI so hopefully avoid the recalls. :P

PS: Go the piggies!! :P

Had mine first serviced after I bought it at Melville Subaru, wouldn't go back there if you paid me, they're useless.
