Default Kelford Cams

Anyone know who the Oz distributor or reseller for Kelford cams?

Chasing info on their 264 cams

Brian Cower would be ideal given the weak US / strong Aussie $, but they don't quite come with 264, but 272 (somewhat superficial perhaps in the scheme of things)

^^The specs on the Brian Crower 272's are nearly the same as the Kelford 264's.

There is little detail on BC cams regarding dialing them in on a motor. BC do not come to the party with infomation that is clear or at all accurate based on the final product. My feeling are most fit them to a motor and do not dial them in or have fitted verner cam wheels, there for would be unawear the cams are not timed correctly.

Kelford cams dial in accurately and are suported by good technical information out of the box

I have Jun 264 in my 2ltr, technical infomation is very poor. Iam dialing them in tomorrow so can give some feed back.

The crower Spec sheet lists the optimum cam timing with the cams dialed at 0 degrees on both inlet & exhaust (& that's how mine are set using a Crawford eccentric t/belt idler).

No additional cam advance or retard is needed unless you have an odd set up (like Nitrous or a restrictor).

I got mine through rms. They sorted it all out for me. Were rather expensive when I asked around. Didn't do much for me but the 34 was running out of puff apparently.

thanks for that rossco

for you guys that changed out the cams, be it jun, BC, kelford, etc, did you upgrade the retainers, spring, valves? I'd imagine yes, given that you won't want to part it out again later.

Email the Kelford Cam Shop directly. It's accessible via their main website. Can't remember his name but did a good job of making my purchase (264 cams and retainers) bloody simple straight from Kelford themselves.
