How much is an S204 worth?
How much would a stock standard, low mileage (25,000 km) 2008 STI S204 be worth? This is the genuine article (one of the 600 built) and not a replica built from a donor car. Car is in as new condition.

Does it have matching engine numbers or has it been replaced?
Is it in japan or aus? Gotta be north of 50k I would think

S204 started production run in late 2005 thru to 2006. Only 600 were made and all special badging with production numbers.
This car is NOT in Australia. This particular vehicle was registered in 2008. Its immaculately kept. I know the owner and am thinking of purchasing it, using it for a year and shipping it to Australia after that. I used to own a two door JDM STI Type R (think it was 1998) outside of Australia. I think Subaru Australia imported 150 of these into the country. These 'special' edition JDM STI's are very special cars. They may not have much more power than the stock STI's but the engine response and handling is sublime and no amount of mods can replicate what the factory has done. That is the reason i am thinking of buying this car as it is another "special" STI and handles beautifully, not to mention those carbon fibre seats are very desirable. |

S204's would be worth around $45k and above i would have thought, but this isnt allowing for the circle jerk factor

Add circle jerk factor and you have hundreds of thousands.
Or think of it this way, its worth as much as the next bloke (or lass) is willing to pay. |

50k is all it's worth here. You 'may' get someone with more money than brains to pay for a badge, but essentially you'd be ~ +25% over local.

Considering they still sell for $45k-55k still in Japan for low kms examples and not damaged ones then add import taxes, registration and stamp duty it all adds up. (plus 12mths woth of rego and living expenses OS)
How much are they selling it for overseas? Is it the one on Xmas Island or one in Singas? (Sounds that way since you say registered in 2008 and thats how they class them in MY, SG and CI) How much it's worth is how much you're prepared to pay for it. As Stace said, just get an RA-R if you can find one, a member on here got one for mid $30k and imported it to NZ from Japan.
