Since I don't have a lawn, I might take up Rexxar's advice and fertilize my neighbour's

Canningvale have a collection tank, free and they say up to 20lt, but nobody checks. It's just a way to restrict commercial operators.

It's pretty irresponsible to dump this stuff these days and they do make facilities available.

What comes out of the ground should return into the ground.

+1 for that.

And where is that place so I can irresponsibly dump oil there?

Commercial operators are those who make money from ppl like me. Taking my waste oil, charging me and making more money from the recycling.

Do you know that even used batteries are paid by recycling companies. Why isn't oil recyclers here doing it anymore? In the US, Japan and even China, waste oil is bought by recycling companies.

Yes it does! There is a current issue with the shortage of corn and palm oil for other applications in the industry? Wonder why?

Hint: Ask Redline, Cusco and Mobil 1.

I believe recycled oil was used for running one of the power stations. You used to be paid for the old oil, however since the mining boom in WA there is now a glut of used oil so now you are charged for disposal.
