Now thats a much more sensible solution. Finally someone talking some sense.

I also find race tape on the plate works a treat as well.

Have you seen the fine for not nominating a driver! God damn!

Although I don't know anyone who has been done for it yet...

Company will get a letter, the onus is then on the company to identify the driver. Falure to comply (Not id'ing driver) is a penalty equal to roughly double the original fine. Should the cops wish to take the company to court for falure to comply, maximum penalty of $10k. I am yet to be taken to court for it though.

Company car for the win.

This ia a well known situation now. As stated in the speed camera thread, with the new reverse setups even a V1 is of limited use with 50% of the time driving blind. In a reverse setup all a radar detector will do is give you notice that you've been ticketed. Roe Hwy is notorious for reverse set ups as an example.

With regard to speeding fines and company cars the $10k fine is only if contempt of court by a misleading statutory declaration is proven in court is my understanding.

I remember reading a thread in AL which stated the failure to nominate driver fine is $1,200?

That's not what I understand it is. Failure to nominate is twice the value of the ticket forwarded.

Chad - remember every overpass on Roe is an excuse for a reverse setup

Then the $1,200 makes sense for an AL benchmark then
