I've seen a rear facing camera in a white van several times recently. It's normally positioned on the Leach Hwy past the Shelly Bridge, as you head towards Freo.

Passed a rear set up Poliscan on Mandurah road last night. It (and the car) was totally hidden behind a bush - it was difficult to see the camera after I passed it (impossible to see it prior).

Wasn't speeding but V1 radar detector didn't go off until I drew level with it.

I saw a van setup on the way to collie yesterday on the forrest hwy. The operator also saw me slow to 80, give him the bird, then stand on it hard.

I was about to chuck the bird to one of these fine upstanding citizens packing up yesterday leaving Freo and give the Gixxer a fistful. Thankfully I noticed the 3 carloads of plods having a chat to a bloke sitting on the curb in the next side street looking like he was having a very bad day.

They cops were still with the camera hours later (assuming that you saw it on South Street). I was actually wondering if it was a number plate recognition van with the cops pulling over vehicles of interest.

It just doesn't make sense for the cops to hang around a speed camera for hours.

why do camera operators deserve the finger and any other gestures?? they are just doing the job they are contracted to do?
