I did some changes to a persons car on the forum (name kept anonymous) and its been a rather good state of tune across the board. All this with just a turbo back exhaust, previously the car was constantly negatively knock correcting itself and had rather low advance numbers. Now its actively advancing and at maxiumum multiplier advance. Last edited by Intra; 27-03-2006 at 04:23 PM. |

Sort of put me of as I was getting keen on the UTEC (I dont want/need a full ECU - just something in the lower end for basic exhaust and CAI mods). Anyone else experienced this re. UTEC tuning?

Leigh From RMS and AJ from Speedworks have some knowledge tuning the UTEC AFAIK.

UTEC does take a bit of time to tune (fine tuning). Its tuned using hyperterminals rather a software based.
You can contact Wayne at turboXS, and what he does is send you a base tune for the basic mods you have, but still require a fine tune by either Leigh or AJ. |

AJ was pretty reluctant into tuning the UTEC.
I think he did a semi-decent job when i had it there, with all the probs with the car n all.. |
