Default who blew up their custom 2.5L 600+hp wrx??

hey all was talking to a m8 at cgc engineering in ozzy pk and they are re-sleeving/reboreing.... fixing for a better word, someones ej20 that was made a 2.5L as was blowm up or something don't know the details but the engineers/mechanics that work there say it was pulling some bullshit figures so figured that the owner would or SHOULD be apart of this club and was just trying to find who owns this beast?

I know of one sleeved 2.5 that was broke, one of the sleeves was cracked due to hydrolaucing (sp???). Wasnt aware of it being fixed yet.

i doubt the p-wrx block that was broken would be worth fixing.

i dunno what exactly needs fixing on it but the engineering shop that has it does fix alot of cylinderheads so cld be anyones guess

I know of some other parts that are at CGC getting worked on, that'll be going onto another P-WRX members WRX

Nope not mine.. mine is still running in my car and i wouldnt let anyone in perth touch my engine, over east she goes.

thats pretty selfish, i like touching things, i hear that MMS come highly recommended in building tough motors...........Master Tony Flood is building mine.........

Ron u can only look mate In building a standard EJ20 or EJ22 then i wouldnt have any hestitation in goin to RT. however when bulding a EJ25 sleeved ect even RT themselves didnt want to get involved as they didnt have much experience building those types of engines. They didnt want me to be the guniea pig again like i have so much in my buildup.

Whereas Southern motor works over east have built more than 20 sleeved EJ25 and i havent heard of any that have gone caput or were installed incorrectly.
