hi guy's looking at getting a set of these fitted to the liberty. i've been quoted $1250 which is pretty damn amazing. I guess i'm really just looking at this as a cheaper way to lower the car. Obviously i'm not expecting competition coilovers for this price though i still want a reasonable ride. The car will never be tracked. Really just after any major pro's or con's (other than the name lol) from members who have these fitted...and yes i've read every thread on this forum regarding these, i was really just hoping someone could give me a little more info cheers

Just get some lowered springs fitted. Problem solvered :-)
Should cost around $400 to get it done

i considered this but figured if i was to just go ahead and swap the springs i'd eventually kill my standard shocks and have to replace them anyway, i'm just trying to think ahead...for a change lol

TBH it would take years to wear out your stock shocks with lowered springs.

Coilovers are great but the ride becomes quite firm compared to OEM.

This thread was not what I thought it would be about.

*and why did I look in this thread in the first place?*

I don't really claim to own my STD. I've tried getting rid of it, but I think it owns me.

I have a set of std coilovers installed my ride feels great with them on and handles really well. Compaired to stock. I personally would use coil overs over springs as you can raise and lower them as you see fit : D good luck though.
