04 conversion for a gc8
Hey all have tried using search but no luck,
Im having an 04 wrx and 6speed with dccd put into my gc8 and ive heard that someone on the forum has done this before and was just wondering if anyone knew who this was?? Cheers Deano.

They're different cars mate. Lot's of people have put later model engines/gearboxes in. But Forde went the whole hog - engine, gearbox, R180 rear end, brembos, dash, etc.

As said alot of people have done the 6spd conversion it's not overly complicated. And alot of people have swapped motors perhaps speak to Doug at STechnic as that is where most of the conversions happen.

Thanx all, just waiting for news on the rewiring not sure wether to get the 04 ecu etc wired into my loom or see if a vipec would run the 04 engine through my loom?? Gonna speak to allstar next week as i only work around the corner...

Yep just engine and gearbox, i really want the whole dash too but again ive been told the wiring is the issue.
