I total respect your opionion, but at the end of the day every top line jap car being a rex, or an evo has a younger brother or sister that is the base model. You cant go off a base model to say one is better than another, ones a chicks car and ones a granny car for there not the same apples....... Is this a fair call???
Yeh for sure fair call. I guess what I think is that lancer has been around for alot longer, therefore as everyone has the base model it has less prestige, which de-values the EVO's appeal to me. You dont see many standard imprezzas that young kids have put spoiler kits on, to make them look like something there not.
I just think Subaru's are a totally different class of car.

Spot on Chee...... Pleanty of WRX wannabees and also plenty of STI wannabees as well. How many guys drive wrx's and make them into STI's.....

I do see where your coming from Jar, and thats your opionion which is cool, but when people say there a chicks car, i think that's bullshit as an imprezza is a chicks car as well..... Just the point I was trying to get across.

Obviously not the same places as you, you can't honestly say that as many triehards drive Subaru's as Lancers??????
No offence meant for Lancer drivers this is just a discussion! Would hate my car to get key'd by an upset lancer driver.
