I stand with what I have stated before, obviously our definitions of cheap/quality are different. But I would appreciate that you wouldn't respond to me in such manners, all that i ask is if anyone has bought any that are quite affordable and have had a good experience with the nuts that they've purchased. I don't remember posting this post asking for such nonsense, but I appreciate you offering wisdom in saying that it is better to save up and purchase $200 wheel nuts. But I don't have the luxury to purchase wheel nuts at such a price even if I do save up, nor do I intend to purchase wheel nuts at such a price. My price range, $60 at most.

KKR forged aluminium wheel nuts 12x1.25 pitch (x20) otomoto.shop033.com
I'll say it again.. these are cheap (not $60, but not $200 either), and they are a proven product.. At least 20 PWRX members (going off previous group buy quantities) use them and have not had a single issue with them. They don't come in fancy red, but they come in a very hard wearing finish that won't rub off and look shit after one or two removals and refits. If you want to spend $60, I can't provide any recommendation on wheel nuts in this price range. Here's an even better idea.. if you want to spend very little on such a critical component of your vehicle, how about keeping the OEM wheel nuts? They're free, and they work. |

But what's the difference between having stock wheel nuts and a set of wheel nuts that are $60? I mean they may not be racing standard but I am definitely not going on the tracks with this car, so I won't be needing that level of durability.

Well the stock wheel nuts keep the wheels on your car perfectly and safely, as designed from the factory. We're not talking about a racing standard here, we're talking about a level of safety that you need whilst on public roads.
The taper of the OEM wheel nut seat also matches your wheels nut surfaces perfectly, meaning they won't damage the rims or come loose. See where I'm going with this? If you want to sacrifice safety for the sake of some cheap red anodized wheel nuts, then thats your choice, but we don't benefit anything by telling you to do otherwise.. there is no agenda here, just telling you how it is! |

Wow there are some knobs on here. Thinking that paying more that $50 for wheel nuts is nessesary. Just being a try hard. Done heaps of track days with my $45 car mods wheel nuts and wait... im still alive. I really dont think i have read a sensible post yet form duke drifter.

You can get McGard spline drives on eBay for $100-$120 these days. They're the way to go for sure.
