question: if i was to make my wrx a rear wheel drive and atm with the awd i am makin 204kw at all 4's however then i convert my wrx to rear wheel drive without doin any engine or performance mods will it still make 204rwkw? or will it increase

i am curious because there is 300rwkw SR's and RB's running round and they get chopped by 200kw wrx's?

Unsure on the first one. In theory it shouldn't change, but on that 2nd point, if your racing a RWD 300 rwkw SR or RB against a WRX 0-100 km/h then you might have a chance, otherwise I doubt they will get chopped (having owned a 300 rwkw SR & a bit higher powered RB and a few WRX's )

cause its fun?

ok, once and for all, you DO NOT remove the front shafts, you DO NOT pull a fuse, the rigolis doing that in a video was a load of shite..

you DO swap the centre diff out, its the only way to do it.. because of the way the WRX distributes drive to the front and rear wheels, if you pull the shatfs, the centre diff will send all the power to the front, because its the path of least resistance.

you will see a power increase, as your now only driving two wheels, the power will go up, don't expect to be making a million hp more, a moderate increase of say 20ish hp would be expected, saddly i never di a comparision on the same dyno, but in RWD it made 240 at motorvation, with less boost than normal, but it made 210 at all 4 with the boost wound up hard...

and the second video is a rex with 4wd still, as the front wheels are still pulling the car around a bit, im guessing its got a DCCD centre..

MRT sell kits to make it RWD, well a replacement centre, but you can weld up an old centre diff to do it..
