if its the video of me at motorvation, i had an external temp guage to keep an eye on things, and the adaptor i made up the night before slipped out of the top rad hose, emaning it was spewing the coolant out, they red flagged me and when i saw the temp start to shoot up radidly i buttoned out anyway..

if its the vid with me fucking around under the bonnet, i was ripping hte plug leads off as the car wouldn't shut down, something to do with me hardwiring the thermo fans i think meaning the ecu was still seeing power and keeping the car going, spark plug coils carry a hefty zap..

Nasty!

But isnt the rule of thumb, to keep your engine going as if you turn the engine off the pressure builds up even more in the radiator and will blow your hoses and stuff?

I dont know if this is right, I just always thought this.

Anyway nice skid Denver, wish I was there that year, people must have been like How the hell is a wrx doing that?!?!

yeah you do leave it running, provided the top hose isn't spewing water out of the cooling system, i fixed it up fired the car up and topped up the missign water, only dropped a litre or so..

shame it did that, i wanted to pop both the rears it smoked up hard, pirelli p6000's for the win
