Yep, 10 years exactly today since I took delivery of the GC8.... damn, time goes fast when ya hit the 50's .

Yeh, I'm sure someone on here will tag with "cool story bro" or some other BS... but it has always been my intent to post on here as such, if I did happen to keep the same Rex for 10+ years. Today also marks me as a forum member for 10 years . Just wish I had the relevant lifestyle and closer proximity to Perth to at least be occasionally involved with P-WRX meet-ups, cruises etc .

Any others on here can make claim to ownership of their WRX/STi for 10+ years? Just curious, as most ppl change their cars after much less time...

I think Toni has had his CSE4 since new.
That is pretty impressive though. I had my white wagon for 5 or 6 years and that was by far the longest I have owned any of my cars.

Wow, 10 years with a car driven regularly is something. In a few months I'll only be up to 6 with my GC8. And I can't believe this but now that I think about it, I've only been doing Motorsport for 3 years. It feels like forever. (Actually 4 years- I did one season of Motorkhana in 2009 but that was my only Motorsport that year; 5 events).

I know Toni here has had his custard since new, so that's 12 years!!

You betcha!!! never been in a newer WRX than mine, but from all reports, the good ol' GC8 has that "rawness" to it which is much more refined as later models progressed... still on original donk & snail & going strong as... wouldn't swap it for all the Porsches in Germany!!!
