I have to say that I'm very happy with the Project MUs...

I'm sure there are other brakes that work a charm, but I don't think I will ever bother with anything else, it's not worth it now that I've tried to the best brake pads ever made.

PMU all the way from now on.

Did a track day with them---just ridiculously amazing braking performance, they will litterally put your face through your windscreen if you're not careful.

I was able to brake much later than anyone else on the track, I was the only car with PMU HC+s on the front discs! I so can't wait to put HC+s on the rear too.

Oh and I need to mention once again - almost no brake noise after more that 2000kms driven, and some track days! rarely there is a tiny brake squeal and I mean "a single squeal" when you first brake for the day then nothing for the next 2-3 days!

Just amazing brake pads, I don't believe there is anything else out there like these and won't go searching for anything else... Project MU HC+s is what you want!

Very very very happy :-D (Ultra happy)

edit: this write up was with pmaos...have since gone pmus, different

Thread buuuump

I'm looking for a set of brake pads that will be used 90% on the street. just want no noise and with lots of bite and minimal fade after lots of heavy braking for the track... probably just no limits days at this stage

PMU HC+ seem to be the go but i'm keen to hear people's experiences with the PMU B-spec and others around that price range

edit: car came with bendix ultimates.. they seemed OK for my first no limits day but the thing is i have nothing to compare them too?

+1 for this. I have had no noise issues with these pads but the only downside I have found with the HC+ is alot of brake dust especially after track days but I guess that is a small sacrifice for the performance.

Does anyone know who else sells/ships the pagid RS29 yellow pads Part no.2487?

I can't get them through vividracing now, UPS shipping costs are crazy expensive.

Best deal so far is $390 AUD shipped from Canada. Aus suppliers want crack prices for them.

Any help would be appreciated.

2010 sti - oem brembo calipers - Part no.2487

Cheers.

I've had a read through, and for the most part the recommendations given are specifically for Brembo calipers. I'm looking at turfing the EBC Greens I'm currently running with my 4/2 pots, and going for something else. For this application would the either the PMu or QFM's?
