Hey mate,

Dont know if you've checked these already but try testing your HT leads and see if they are reading the right resistance. Also have you looked for a boost leak. Hope this can help you with your problem

New AFM bought and fitted today, I re Set the ECU then fitted the AFM= drives much better indeed but for some reason still feels a little restrained in acceleration and still has a little bit of hesitation/ splutter???!.

Must be some other issue elsewhere as well?

Damnitt, the car has gotten worse again, with the new AFM it ran good for 5 days and has now gone to running spluttery, bogging down after about 30 mins of driving or so??!.

The car has ECUTEK on the ECU, can any tuner alter settings on this or can only licenced ECUTEK Tuners alter the tune?.Is it possible for a car to lose its tune even though nothing has been modified since the tune was done?.....

It's not possible for the ECU to lose its tune.

There are numerous dodgy genuine looking AFM's on the market. Anything from $90 upwards. I've not found any less than $300 that work as well as a genuine one though.

ecutek is now locked to ur ecu, so licensed tuners only. and no would not loose tune. mate best thing to do is take it to a workshop and get it sorted. id say MMS as theyd be able to sort ur ecu too, if that is the issue.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-I...item43b4f99525 his Ebay feedback is Excellent

The reason I asked if other tuners can alter the tune is that MMS want $350 for the first hour!

Thats the cost of tuning!

How about : take it to MMS and ask if they can diagnose the problem.
