Does anyone know how much an Autronic PnP ECU would cost to buy only.

For what model car?

About $2700-3000 (new) fitted & tuned last time i checked. The going rate for a 2nd hand PnP for a MY99/00 is $1800 or thereabouts (+ tuning).

Call MMS, Hyperdrive, Speedworks, Race Torque, RMS, etc, etc.....

$3500~ fitted is what ive been quoted for the SM4 PnP for the MY01+ models.
What Fred said is about right for the MY99/00 PnP units, I would say the MY97/98 & MY 94/95/96 units would be in the same price range as the 99/00.

I got quoted for $2800 from Lumpy. Fitted and road tuned.

In light of that, you'd be NUTS not to get motec. It's cheaper and significantly better.
