I remember looking into it when I had one and it just wasn't worth the effort as I was on a budget and gains were negligible.

Exhaust will net very little in the way of gains

Tune will get you some hp.

Better of selling, adding your 6k and getting a 03/4/5/6 sti

As I stated on the first post, those sort of comments are not helpful.

Not a lot you can do on a NA motor without opening it up.
Maybe a tune with a new chip, exhaust, but for the extra you get, maybe 10 to 15%, not good value - bang for your buck.

If ... the 3L H6 is a tough motor, and lacks low down torque somewhat,
it is a candidate for a SC.
You could expect up to 40% extra torque and 25% extra power, but my guess is you are up for about $12,000 or more for the job if all done by a workshop. Whoever does it should be listened to carefully w.r.t upgrading intake injectors and exhaust.
Who does that sort of thing in Perth? -
Try West Racing in Osborne Park, or, there was a SC place on the GE Highway Rivervale I talked to a few years ago, not sure if still there.

Yes they are because they are absolutely correct.

The 3.0RB is a cruiser, not a sports car.

You want it to go fast? Fork out and turbo/sc it, or don't bother.

A tune and exhaust combo would cost 2k and net you 15hp? Yay!

Enjoy it for what it is, not what it isn't.
