A lot of other well known brands that manufacture headers are $1000 plus were as empire and ultrex don't seem to break the bank and are quite reasonably priced.

You get what you pay for, and I wouldn't cheap out on important items.

I am very happy with my Kando - (Ultrex, Tomeii, PSR) headers, quality and fitment were perfect and they sound insane.

$600 vs $250 but definitely worth the extra coin.

^^ This

The words Empire and Performance should not be put together in the same phrase or sentence.

my headers have last 10plus yrs, jap brand with thick wall piping not those light cheap brands.
if your not chasing big power 350kw plus, then match port your headers and up pipe.
Butler do do a nice zorts, i use their end muffler.
will be moving from UEL to EL tomeii not expecting difference as the old girls making 440kw at present.

This had empire headers that I modified , tried a Tomei set as well wasnt happy with the sound like my off beat nice and off beat and deep . Put my stock Ra headers back on after match porting them with a die grinder . Not hard to do , cheap , sound great fit perfect .

Personally would only look at aftermarket if I went twin scroll now as you loose the dok dok sound anyway. Oh the Tomei shat on the Empire headers for fitment and sound much thicker tube as well. You get whst you pay for.
