I had similar. I painted the outer blue, inner black. It matched well with the front of the car.

Alas, that was years ago and the front lip has since been lost to the sands of time.

And by 'lost' I mean 'crashed'.
And by 'to the sands' I mean 'into a tree'.
And by 'of time' I mean 'with much gusto'.
