Legal Tint is 35%, altho most cops on the drive past wont be able to tell the diff between 20% and 35%. I have 5% on my rears around the hatch and it makes it difficult to reverse at night, but it keeps the car so much cooler.

im seriously considering it, iv booked it in on the 24th at peter garden.

whats my chances of gettin a yellow? Iv heard mixed opinions from ppl with it. some have have had it on and never get pulled over, some do ?

I copped a yellow on my old car with 5% on rear & 10% on sides - you'll get a yellow eventually, then that opens up a can of worms for other mods, etc.

getting a yellow JUST for tint is pretty low i think..
though if you get a yellow for something else, you might have trouble passing the pits.

It was the ONLY reason why i got pulled over & stickered in the 4 years of ownership.

yeh but the GC8 shapes get picked on i think way more than our shapes.
I have a cuzn that drives a 2002 BMW and another a new Merc , both have 5%, and have no probs when going past cops.

Plus I have never been pulled over in my car since I have got all the mods done. (only time i was gettin pulled over was when it was stock asa rockl!)
