this storey reminds me of those scam's you receive in the mail;

my mum used to get them saying you have won a car or $100 000 and to send a cheque or money order to such and such in switzerland.

Mum used to reply to letters very enthusiastically, and tell them to come over with the car and then she would give the money in cash... went back and forwards many times, but i dont think she gets bothered by them ne more..

go to western union
tell them its a scam and your trying to catch them out... and can you have a phoney receipt..

or find one and scan it and digitally adjust it..

keep asking for the $69 fee while keep their greedy little hopes up with pictures of your credit card application or somthing. The more you make them think they are closer to the $$ the more likely they will give you $$

Why dont you say that your cousins uncles son etc is on a Contiki trip that is going to be going through Helsinki in a weeks time. You can transfer the money into his account and he can pay this person in cash to their face. He can then organise the shipping from there. Peace of mind on both sides.

Depending on how in depth you want to get the Contiki mobs come over from Stockholm on the overnight ferry th'love boat' and that perhaps he can meet him at the dock in this car. Helsinki is a small place and they will know about the boat if they are from Helsinki.
