Where is the best place to get a fire extinguisher and brackets ready to mount? I want to mount it at the front of the passenger footwell - Need to begin getting myself ready for No Limits.

Needs some solid Brembo pads and some RBF600 fluid too.

RBF600 from Tenagah (NOR) or RMS (SOR).

Fire extinguisher - Most workshops, Go Gear, etc.

Pads - Ferodo ftw if you're doing track work.

not a photo but a description
there are two bolts on the front end of the passeger seat rails, ie where the lever that allows to move your seat fwd/back, there's one bolt there (front) and back, where the door is
all you need is a metal bar that extends from these 2 bolts, and you secure your bar using these 2 bolts and then you attach the extinguisher to the bar

On another note, i know the plastic bracket wont take the strain of the extinguisher so i have removed, like stated above, dont want it to be a projectile

simple mistake with the fire extinguisher, but there is no excuse for neons

You can mount a 1kg on the floor in the rear drivers side using the existing seat mounting bolt for general Club level events. You must buy a bottle with a metal bracket. These can be had for about $25 from K-MART and require no drilling or extra brackets to fit. Please note this is not an ideal location but will satisfy CAMS for Waneroo and other Club level events.

Can get them at repco etc too.

This is what we did for my old S13, right under the drivers legs. Took it to many CAMs events, all scrutineers said great idea, didn't need to chop the car up.

I'm pretty short ( 5 foot 8 or something), and i had plenty of room under that to not even have to move the seat to get it out.

I had 2 in my old WRX. One at passengers feet (similar to pictured above) and
one in the boot. That way, if the passenger side of the car was smashed up
you can get to the one in the boot, and vice-versa.

I always got worried about the car getting hit on passengers side and catching
fire while the passenger was pinned in WITH the fire extinguisher.

I got 2. One on back floor on passenger side so I can reach over and one mounted on my dash.

When my brakes caught fire in Mundaring at the start of the year, the dash one came in VERY handy.

Each to their own but.
