tee hee. time and money budget well out the window :P

Nice work Matt and Stace!

The news of motec bringing a proper '06+ PnP with DBW support has def. got me excited! Though going cable throttle is always the better option. If you did go cable, with the conversion you would have to change the complete intake or just change the throttle body?

At this point i'd need to change intercooler, manifold, throttle body, pedal assembly and of course string a cable. the DBW/DBC throttle body and therefore manifolds are different.

plus MoTeC DBW > OEM DBW

Autronic are also about to release a DBW version of their pnp.

I would still go cable if I was you Matty...DBW ain't a good thing.

I'll be quite interested to see what the total difference in weights will be Matt when your finished - sounds like theres alot of (what we would term unnecessary) weight savings to be had

Ahh is matty the bastard who ended up with your DMS's steve?

Matty, can't Motec remove the MY03 board and put on their "generic" board turning it into a "gold box" without the gold box? After all an M800 is an M800.

I'm also very interested as to why people think electronic throttles are bad? Though I guess they do need to be executed correctly.
